
Tanisha is an interdisciplinary artist with more than fifteen
years of freelance art experience. She began her career as
a lithographic printmaker at Illinois State University where she
served as an apprentice to the Normal Editions Workshop. She went
on to earn an MFA at the University of Wisconsin-Madison with concentrations in printmaking and textiles. Tanisha
discovered her passion for working with underserved
communities while as a client assistant for the
Oordhoeve Health Farm (Ede, Netherlands) and
continues to advocate for marginalized communities.
